That's beautiful Claudio and very original. I don't have any crits on your techniques because I'm just a beginner with C4D, but as a piece of art I think it's fantastic.
What was your inspiration for this, out of interest?

thank's vapor, I really appreciate your comment!!
about the inspiration, I don't know, all has gone by yourself, but this forum and the artworks I see here always inspire me a lot.
If now I look at my image it reminds me a bit the mood of the minuature posted here some weeks ago, but I'm relly far to reach that quality.

This is pretty cool.
I don't know what the @ sign is doing there... I've never seen on of those used before.
Also... you may want to add some noise in the color map of the match tip.
how is this going to look when it's finished?

adrian, the @ sign is there to give the "virtual" look, something surreal
In the finished work I would like to give the mood of a miniature playground, somethnig that comes out when we sleep............but, absoluttelly I want the photoreality

it's too "perfect" to be photorealisic

I like the result. But especially like the shader for the floor. Can you tell us what you used to get that effect?

Very nice Claudio72, really awesome imagination, since it's a playground I see a slide, swing ? Can't wait to see the finished pic :)
Nice work Claudio
Crits - Apart from the color in the match head being to pink which Adrian mentioned, then next would be your metal has no noise/imperfections in its surface. The bump on the match head is not realistic as the bump in the phoshor is not that un even, clamp the bump in a bit tighter, try random and 50 grey on white, set to about 2 to 3 %.The wood on the matchstick has a stretched sort of look to it and to much grain for a match stick, they are more one color and a bump then with a grain.

I will follow your crits for the next updates........thank's to you all
rirad, the floor is a blurred reflective material, the bright zone is caused by the HDRI image I'm using in the scene.

Thanks. I especially liked the noise, so I thought you used a bump map but indeed the (lack of samples in the) blurry reflection causes this. Really nice.
I think the specular on the match head is a bit off and the material on the men seems to not be totally prefect either but it looks great.
Also the wood material on the match seems a little odd. Most matches I have ever seen do not have such an obvious grain to them.
GREAT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
