Well... it's time to finally upgrade my Vid Card...

I was wondering if any of you are using the 3DLabs VP 880Pro 256Meg AGP Dual DVI Display with XSI.

I have seen nothing but accolades for this card (particularly for the price) and was wondering if any of you guys (and girls) have had trouble with it or the drivers.

Posted it here rather than Hardware Forum for the XSI response, but feel free to move it if necessary. :D

Thanks folks.

edit: okay I'm starting to run into some crits as I dig deeper... many seem to think that the Quadro (same price range but 128M RAM) is a better buy, unfortunately the Quadro is a AGP 8X and my Tyan Tiger board only handles 4X... hmm...

I think the 8x quadro will drop down to 4x speeds will it not.....? That way when you upgrade your mobo you get a little boost on your vidcard to :p

Ah, so it can... very interesting (even though I'm not likely to upgrade mobo's for about 18 mon... heh-heh)
