Congratulation to all of the Animators who have made it this far. I know that these animations can be a reward all of their own, but these animations especially are now something for the rest of us to aspire to. These animators have set the bar for us to achieve their likeness in quality or better. If we so choose. Only the "Chosen" can be seen here.

Here stands the ELITE

can we post here?

i have some questions/suggestions

we can send the animations finished in playblast or just rendered? what we can consider finished? rendered, curves worked or what?

the competition is just for evaluate the animation or all together (scenery, render, model)?

i dont know if have, but could be some rules

i agree with the winning of mrmike, congrats =], is just some things that we can think for the next month

its not the case this month because anyone except mrmike passed the early blocking phase, but we can have a blocking very well done and better animated than a rendered animation and that can be a problem

I would prefer that this thread be left only for the showcase of our winners in each month.

The first post in the new animation challenge has all of the rules listed. I do believe that they will cover your questions for you.

As for your final submission don't worry about the rendering of your animation. I consider Rendering and Animation to be two completely different subjects. So if all you have time for is a Playblast submission that is perfect. This competition focuses solely on animation.
