Sup guys been awhile but I have finally encounter a problem that I hope you guys shall be able to solve. I've seen this thread before were someone had the same problem that I am having but I can't remember how he fixed it. So here goes...
I have a new project I am currently working on and it requires me to have everything cel shaded. The program that I am most familiar with is Illustrate! by David Gould. Now Illustrate currently in its former state is not compatible with 3d max 5.x so I am having to revert back to 4.2:D to do this project.
I am using the Backfromfive script created by the Bodo(sp) hope I got that right guy....to transfer my max files from 5.1 to 4.2 which is successful with some tweaking. I run into the problem when I go to edit my object and and I click the min/max toggle so that my objects fill my monitor. When I go to rotate or edit the objs I immediately see a speed reduction. I can try to rotate it but it goes awfully slow. Selecting polys are also just as slow. The kicker is that when I click the min/max toggle again and I now have 4 views when I go to rotate/edit in the plane that I wanted to before everything is perfect again.
Any suggestions on this little but annoying problem would be most welcomed.
