View Full Version : Limited workspace?
seanrs 06-29-2009, 05:15 PM I'm in the process of making my first real scene in blender and it appears that I have a limited amount of real estate that I can use for my scene. Unfortunately the scene requires a bit more space. I did make the scene and selected all the objects and scaled them down.
My question is- is there a way to make infinite space in blender or is there some weird thing i'm doing wrong
Thanks
Sean

perhaps you are referring to the clipping distance of the camera? You can increase that in the settings panel for the camera:
http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:Manual/3D_interaction/Navigating/Camera_View
There does appear to be a video drawing clipping limitation also in the viewport, if that's what you are referring to, there's a view clipping in the viewport view settings (hit 'N' in the viewport). There is indeed a limit though.
Maybe someone else has a better response?
