I would call this an edge. In this case it is the edge of the door. To me (in English) a "rim" is the wheel of the car, without the rubber tire, the metal part is called a rim.
But what you need to make is more detail. To get the edge to look nice you will need more geometry at that point. I would need to see a screen shot of what you are working on. I hope that helped.
there are some screen shots of car (only half)

i dont think you have enough detail in your car yet to worry about those things. when you render that car it's not going to look very accurate.

To get what you want, you need to add more detail. More edges, very close together. Like what I drew on your model picture here.
You will need at least 3 edges to make the sides of the car door like you want.
It looks okay so far from what I can tell, but like Will said, you need to worry about the overall car first. Before you start putting in details.
Make sure ths car's shape overall is perfect before you start adding too much detail. That will only make it harder to fix a problem if you or someone else sees one.
problem is when i now add some edges theh it broke me model ( dont copy my blueprint) - shlould i add edge to polygona and then move verticles to blueprint and then again and again ...
and then finally add some details?
Of course we are not talking about NURBS but Poligons, in Poligons when you add detail in some areas and then smooth your geometry out there appears a corner, if you were modeling in NURBS you wouldnīt have to be aware of this. But you are modelling in Poligons donīt you?, so, first add detail, then cry becouse all your tangencys are gone (wild), then you stop crying and start moving verts from here to there..., tweak them and youīll end with the same shape as before the detail, then you cut out the different parts of the model and extrude their edges inside so you have the edge of the door, itīs a pain in the ass but itīs the only way (I know).
good luck! (uīll need it)

Here is a picture from a car I made. You can see many extra lines where the door edge is. The above picture is very detailed for a door edge. This is where you want your car to be. Then you can smooth the car and everything looks nice, like the bottom picture.
You might just want to cut the door off and and put the edges on that way, like joie has said. But my car was all one piece.
