Time of day, light's on/off... I don't really think it's that special but CGIpadawan said I should post what I've been working on in here more often. Serious Criticism is appreciated more then regular commentary.

so is that the bottom of a lawnmower then? ;)

looks nice, I prefer the middle one. I'm guessing there are some other shots rather than just this one....

It ended up being more of a commercial grade ceiling rotor, lol. the First is supposed to be very early morning, but it's too dark, the middle is without lights on in the room, maybe mid day, the last one is kinda a medical type lighting deal.

The first one should be a little more colored with red/orange, the second one is nice but too blurry, the last one is really good (could be brighter if it's a "medical type lighting")
There are some OSA problems (middle-left), strange.
Raytraced or approximate ambient occlusion ?

Approx AO. Raytrace is a bit to expensive in the rendertime department imo.
