hi all
i wonder if anyone can help me
i'm a relative maya novice [migrating from max] and am trying to get a NURBS surface to drip. i've got a blend shape animated so look like a drip forming, becoming engorged, then taking on a teardrop shape. this is being used as instanced geometry by a particle emitter bound to my surface.
my problem is that the particles' geometry animation don't start from the start time of the blend shape's animation. i.e. the first particle is fine, then the second is already half-formed at birth time.
i've trawled the help docs, and though several attributes looked promising, i can't figure out how to do it. i presume its some sort of InstancedGeometryTimePP attribute but... any thoughts?
thanks
