Hello, more rigging woes from me.
After I reapplied the envelope on my character, (I saved the previous envelope weight map and reloaded it) I've lost my 'link with' connections to my blendshapes.
Yet all the information (including 'link with' expression) is still there in the shape manager, it's just the animation sliders in the shape manager have no effect.
How can I re-establish the link?
Cheers.

im having the exact same problem, only in my case it happens when i load a model with blendshapes as reference inside the scene.
shape manager shows them okay, but in the animate tab, they are missing the connections.

EDIT: problem solved
i made a model out of my character, and used that to build the shapes in. it should have a local mixer parameter, with 3 subfolders: shape, tracks and compounds.
if any is missing, then ur links are gone.
seems that by making an external model and working with it, the blendshapes and their connections are stored correctly.

Thanks for the reply.
My character is under a model with all the mixer components included, but it isn't saved as an external model, just a scene. Perhaps next time I need to work on an external model.

I would simply redo the parameter connections to the shapes, but the 'Animate' tab of the shape manager doesn't have any effect, even if I remove the links with 'remove animation'.
The only thing I see that is different from when the shapes worked is in the pic below.

In case anyone is curious, I managed to get the sliders of the 'animate' tab in the Shape Manager working again by deleting all the shape tracks in the Mixer. Then back to the Shape Manager, moving the sliders, creates those shape clusters missing in the 'Cluster shape combiner' (see previous post). My links were blown away of course, but at least I could redo them now.

Word to the wise, do your blendshapes when you are certain you've finished mucking about with weights and adding extra bones :curious:
