Heres my first proper WIP that I have attempted with my Wacom tablet and I just want to see if you can see anything wrong? I've been working on it I may have become blinded to blatent errors
, I was concentrating on the emotion and stance, does it work?
{Edit : I've changed the Hair to a more practical style, and the sword, I have changed to a mace, I feel the arm looks better because of it, Any C & C welcom}

The biggest fault I can see with the picture, is that if the woman is holding her fist towards us, you'd assume the sword would also be, or closer to us, then completely perpendicular.
I've added a picture to help show what I'm trying to say.

Ofcourse maybe the entire hand should be in a different position. Like that it seems like she will be punching whoever is holding on to her, not as if she were to use her sword.

:eek: OF COURSE!!!
thanks!
I actually DID intend her to be punching, she's not about to use the sword...but is just shocked by the person grabbing her
I know the idea is cliched, so I'll try and make her look as down to earth as I can, Thanks again.

Edit, I've updated the picture in the first post, do you think it is an improvement?

I find it to be an improvment. :)
But there is something seriously wrong with her neck, not sure if I missed it the frist post or what, but I'm not sure what's going on there. Her ear lobe just seems to extent into her neck then she has a very large cancerous tumor in her neck. Anyway I don't think you were really concentrating on that area anyway, so not too much to worry about. Just thought I should mention it.

the pose is very nicely done. you say she was shock? maybe U should stress it more on her expression.
