View Full Version : is MB only useful for human characters

Can MB be useful for animating say, a speaker or any objects which you want to bring it to life. if it can, do you setup the bone in the software of your choice (mine is lightwave) or do you set it up in MB. and how hard is it to set up the IK.

i have notice when setting up a human character, you just have to name your bones appropriately, but when setting up an object which doesn't resemble a human, how hard is it to characterise the object?

It excels at biped, and soon quadruped. Anything else more customized, you're probably better off in your native app.
