Hey!

For the Plastic Wax team, who grew up watching the Transformers cartoons and playing with the action figures, it was a dream come true. Dane Maddams, Lead Producer for the cinematic, takes up the story. Click the image.

Very cool article and awesome cinematic.

However i can not feel the action was a little blant for what it could have been. Non the less great cinematic intro.

Awesome awesome work, I really loved the effects and lighting. And getting those high res models from ilm! Wow must have been hectic to deal with that huge poly count. I would have gone cross eyed at 1st. Congrats to the team. Well done!

Great article and breakdown shots.

Question: In the FX and Compositing parts of the article 'interactive lighting passes' were mentioned several times. I'd like to know more about this technique and Google didn't turn up much.
