Hey, guys,

wonder if you could help me out, I´ve just bought a monitor (wide, 21.5") and am presently working on the 1920x1080 screen ratio.
The problem is... the "drawing area" in my Wacom Volitos tablet is the classic 800x600 (aprox A6?), so drawing anything in Photoshop is a headache since, naturaly, a line drawn in my tablet doesn´t correspond to what will appear on the monitor.
Is there a way to compensate for this "drift" short of buying a tablet that works on those screen ratios?

Any help would be greatle appreciated.

Zeu

go into the tablet prefs and reduce the active area to a letterbox

Wacom Control panel has mapping options. There you can check the proportional one (force proportions) for the pen. Now this is the case with graphire's and intuos, but dunno 'bout the volito...
Essentially this deactivates the part of your tablets drawing area that is outside the proportion of your screen, in this case the upper or lower part of the tablet, forcing it to the proportions of your display.
Since your volito is already small enough, if you want to do any serious and precision work you'll rather need a larger tablet of the intuous series.
