View Full Version : rendering statistics window vanished

hi

i got a problem with my 3dsmax 4.2. my rendering statistics windows vanished. i cant see how many polygons, lights, shadows etc have. the biggest problem is, i cant abort the rendering, because i dont know any shortcuts to do this. does anyone have an idea ? :shrug:

Usually pressing the ESC key aborts a scanline render, not sure it works with third party renderers; else you can try to reset your GUI using Customize panel.

Probably the "render progress" dialogue box's position on screen is stored in your "3dsmax.ini" file, you can try and edit that using Notepad to bring it back.

editing the 3dsmax.ini worked.
