I have a character that I modeled and rigged for a thesis of mine. It is a Boston Terrier puppy. I have already rigged it and aside from some minor weight tweaking it is ready to go. I had a friend of mine uv mapped and textured the character for me. Now I want to import the texture and map onto the existing character and rig. The problem is that I do not know how to go about replacing the uv texture map while keeping the weights as well as binding intact. I am using Maya 2009. Thanks.
