Hello,

I have a europeen camcorder (digital) and i want to capture a pal tape on my computer and put the video back on a tape, but in NTSC format. Somebody have a walktrough to do the conversion Pal to NTSC?

Which application do you plan on using? If you have DFX+ or Digital Fusion there is a pre-set flow available on the eyeon website to do the conversion.

I'm sure most applications out there also have some sort of preset to do the same function.

Well that I don't know. It is a fairly complicated process, in that you are changing resolution, field order, and having to time interpolate to get the correct speed. Pal being 25fps, and NTSC 30.

You might be better off going to a VHS conversion house, to do it there. Most have a hardware solution or dual mode VCR to record to.
