View Full Version : PBlurp
celezionka 07-24-2003, 10:16 PM Okay, I admit to not being very proficient with TP, but would like to try out Blurp, but haven't really been able to figure out how to work it. I searched for tutorials on TP, but didn't find any on Blurp -- anyone else know of any?

Thanks for the suggestions. I've been to his site before, but not since my hunt for info on PBlurp. I think I found some stuff that will help me out (thanks mdme_sadie)
I will look for bunks TP stuff.
I also emailed Maxon support. Anyway, I'll post what I figure out so that other people can play with PBlurp.

Took me long enough -- but my excuse is that I had to wait for my new hardware.
I'm not so much as a manual reader, but the best resource on blurp turned out to be the 8.1 addendum that I had sitting on my hard drive already. Duh!
Anyway, for those interested here's my intital experiment. Not meant to be visually stunning. Also I apologize for the much copied freeze-time-and-spin-from-the-matrix type of effect, but I wanted a better look at the particles created.

thats cool...the right to left rotation is a bit over the top..but it works really well. the thing i saw done with it was an exploding and re-attaching head mesh! wierd huh.
thanks for letting us know how you got on and sharing the file...much appreciated.
