In move tool attribute, maya has lots of axis to use; world, object, normal, and set to face...
but in rotate and scale , there no axis to choose(in rotate , there's 3 type of axis, but they are all the same, makes no diffrents), that means if I freeze the transformation, I can only scale and rotate object in world axis!!! That make no sense... I can change the Axis so easy in XSI. But Maya... wish there's a way to figure this problem out...Thanks.

As far as I know the scale only works if you haven't frozen the transformations after a
rotation. Scale doesn't work on a sub-component basis unfortunately. The only time it "aligns" again is if you extrude a face, then you can scale the new faces in component space.

You can't. You can try Local Tools (http://www.highend3d.com/maya/downloads/mel_scripts/modeling/curve_tools/3717.html)

You can move along verts along a normal, or use the the transform component.

Thanks, really, even the answer is "NO"
Wish maya can do some improvements on next version, now I know why lots people says XSI modeling is better than Maya, not only the "M" tool...
