I'm working with a company that uses the IDEAS CAD software to design auto parts.

They want to give me IGES files to use in Maya.

Does anyone have experience with IGES export from this package? I'm trying to find out what flavor of IGES file they support, so these guys can give me something useful. (They're looking to me to tell them how to export files from their software:(

To clarify a little bit more.

I'm used to using IGES data, but I don't have any experience getting it cleanly out of the I-deas package.

I need to know if anyone has info on export options from within I-deas. Is there an Alias friendly option?

Unfortunately this client isn't in the same geographic location as me, so I can't just sit down and look at the software.
