View Full Version : ZD from scanline crisp,from MR aliased.why?

Do you have filtering enebled in the render elements ?

i didnt have filtering on .that sorted it out. heres the problem though. i usually render RPF with the ZD,material id,object id pass inside it. when i extract the passes in fusion they have the aliased edges. how do i solve that? is there a similar technique?

do i have to include the coverage pass also?

Sorry, no help here, but curious why do you want anti-aliasing on your depth buffer anyway? Isn't the way Mental Ray is generating it correct for most uses?
