hi,

does anyone know of a whay to se up a biped to have backwards knees?

I would be very happy if anyone had any ideas.

If there is no solution, is there a way to delete the legs off a biped so as to link it to a bonestructure that I will have to make?

You make the thighs really short, make the foot bones really long, and have him walk on his toes with his heels in the air. Thus, his ankle becomes his knee. If you actually look at an animal with "backwards knees" that is what is happening anyway.

Quite right.

Maybe a real picture will help to explain even further.

I'm not sure "backwards knees" is an accepted therm.
I know what it's called in dutch, not what it's called in English
"tiptoe walkers" or something maybe

You can also change the leg links to 4.

WWiiiiiiieee....in Character studio > Figure mode...just rotate the (upper and downer) leg 180* degrees... works perfect for animation
