hey nice model u've got there! great textures....
some suggestions and comments tho, the leaf on the head looks flat, and it's geometric edges is easily seen...... if it's a grid, try not use a grid for such modelling next time,
The textures are really great, specially with the bump map. u might wanna add more hue to the wing tho, just like what u did at the area round the neck...... add some purplish color near the edge and limbs..... that'll be more interesting and adds realism.right now it looks flat green....
keep it up!

For those people who wonder why there is a leaf on its back, this picture should answer your question.
I know that this creature is not very well done, especially the wing, if any one who can help me improve my art work, I would be very thankful. Your comment and advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Great idea! I love it.
It would be nice if you could get a good photograph of some foliage and render him into it..and see if anyone can pick him out.
I think your model is fine. It's the textures that's throwing it off. The membrain on the wings needs to be a little bit more transparent, maybe see more things inside the skin.
Maybe add some spots to his belly, something break up that large area there. And as mentioned before, try making his camo look more like a real leaf or bulb you might find in the wild.
Maybe soften the scales on his body as they move upward, so it doesn't appear as scalely...just an idea..not sure if that would be too plant looking...
I believe this is a great idea and it can be taken just a little bit more to get some outstanding results.

The texture where the legs meet the body could use some blending. You might want to take a look at this tutorial on texture blending.

Hope this helps
