Hello everyone! This is another shot I've animated from an upcoming short. In this scene, the shark is hungered after terrorizing the city all day. He finds a nearby building he'd like to take a bit out of, and just as he chomps out a piece, he is distracted by an obscure object that is fast approaching (the robot).

And just FYI, the buildings are, ostensibly, just proxies, and the background image is something I've added only to "get into the shot". The actual set will be FAR cooler...so don't worry :)

Hello again, everyone. I've updated the animation slightly. Here are the modifications I've made:

-Fixed the follow-through of right arm as Shark enters, and...

-Changed the animation of the left arm, also as Shark enters, so that he appears to be hungry and looking for food instead of wounded in the stomach.

If you all spot anything else or have any ideas to enhance this piece, I'm all ears. Thanks for your time!

Hi Delano, this is looking really nice! I just have a couple of suggestions for you.

1. In the first shot, when the monster is stepping and you feel the ground shake, can you have his feet come up much higher before they stomp? This will help the impact feel more strong, so you can really feel his weight. Right now they feel more like they are dragging.

2. In the second shot, when the monster takes a bite, it feels like he closes his mouth down around the building too soon. (Yeah I know it's a proxy, but still). Have his mouth contact the (what is invisible now) part of the building, THEN have him bite down onto it. And instead of the building feeling so soft, it would look much better if he had to rip out the piece of it as if he was biting off a piece of jerky!!

Again, it all looks nice!
