CGTalk - Super Help Please

Hi... I never thought I would get into a situation like this but I am very new to Maya and I am trying to get a project done in a very short time. Long story... it's a personal favor for a pal that is getting married... and if I don't do the project he will be doing it during his honeymoon.

Anyway.

I am pretty used to Maya... but there are some things I don't know how to do yet. I am making this short animation for DV... I have my camera setup correctly but I can't figure out how to get the FPS to 29.97. I currently have it set to 30... is there a way so that I can fix this problem?

if you go to animation controls and choose playback>other , you can specify any framerate you want.

Thanks... I entered in .999 and it says that its now at 29.97 FPS. So I think I am all set... thank you very much.
