Hey, welcome, nice work! :) Looks like you are a relative newcomer to CGTalk, so welcome to the fold. Where did you go to school?

Cleveland Institute of Art. It's not well known for its digital art department, but that's OK because I am a good self-learner. Anyways I learned a lot just from lurking CG Society and reading its tutorials, I've only recently decided to get active in here.
Some more sketches I found on my hard drive

I don't know if I'll ever finish this one. I am already a working on another zombie image that I feel could end up better.

I got to take this on class where I got to draw cadavers at the Case Western Medical School. We (art students) got to sneak in after the dissections and draw the cadavers. It was difficult to tell what parts were what, since the med students did a terrible job on the dissections. The bodies... I mean cadavers looked like slaughtered pigs if you ever saw one. I never got to see any of their faces because they were covered with cheese cloth, but you could still make out some facial features which made the whole thing a bit more eerie. The layers of fat and skin peeled away quite easily, due to the method that they were preserved. The embalming fluid was probably the smell I remember the most. I think it was made of phenol, bleach and about 5-10 % Formaldehyde. It didn't smell as bad as across the hall where they were doing some sort of fruit fly experiments. Good times.

This one was too cut up to make sense out of, so I just drew what I saw.

Sorry about the bad quality. I don't have access to a scanner anymore so I had to use a camera instead.
