This is my first try on colour painting! :D Took me around 5 hours.
Its an armoured beast.
I need critiques on colouring and lighting, thanks for viewing. :)

Hi Tan. I like the direction you're going. I hope you don't mind if I painted on your image to show you some ideas.

Here are my suggestions

• add some spots or other texture to give interest
• add shadow. This will ground the beast and give him weight
• you can add color to background to make beast stand out more
• add some glow to eyes to give it a scary look
• add midtones, highlights and darks (currently the image you have is one overall color)
