Okay I have idea for the image. Not sure how too work this out yet, but here`s the idea.

The world have changed, the scientist`s have experimented with changing the DNA structure that ended in a global failure. The sampels were "accidentally" airborn and the result were people changing partley to different animals.

The agent have been tracking down one of the professors behind the "accident", after tips and rumors about it was some professors that had different purposes with the sampels.
He finds out that one the professors is his wife.


So I want to capture the final confrontation when he finds out that It was his wife was one of those that were behind the big accident.

A composition test, trying to figure out a location and a composition. Finding the best way to show their expressions. He didnt know that it was his wife is a evil genius. So have to find a way that wors.

Also trying to achieve a modern version of Noir films.

Started sculpting on the secret agent with name Honor Lionchild.

Yo! Gonna be cool to see how this one will turn out! Dig the middle thumbnail/comp sketch that turned into the top one of the biped-viz!
Lionchild looks cool.. albeit a little puffy cheeked.. Just a suggestion, but maybe lift his cheekbones a little bit? I know you're looking for a good balance between human and lion for the head.. I think maybe pulling in the cheeks a bit.. make him a bit sleeker.. this is of course my personal tastes, so scrap the idea if ya want :D

One more: her desk is sitting awfully close to the back wall.. ;)

Yo! Thank you dCepT, yeah great ideas. I will definitely try it out and see how the result are. Sound interesting. This was just a kind of "blockish" too get my head spinning around ideas.

Well I have been working with the character, the concept its pretty much what you see, the Thumbnail in the middle and the 1st image in the office.


Im always open for more suggestions, please let me know what you guys think coud be better, what you like or what you dont like. Dont hold it back people ;)

Okay sorry for lack of updates, I am working on Lionchild`s UVW and modeling clothes.

But constantly thinking about my idea, there has not been too much replies yet, so Im thinking if people get the message throuh my sketch/previz and idea?

The idea is I want to capture the moment were he finds out that his wife is one the "evil professors" that was behind the accident were a sort of virus was made for a DNA test for using against other type of disease were animals are not being infected but humans are.
The result was a "accident" were the military want if for making more powerful weapons, and what they didnt now is that it was airborn and changing it dna structure it self and infected the humans that made them into a mix between different animals and still keeping there humans form.

Now Lionchild is for his search for an secret agency too find those who was behind the accident and find a antidote.

Yeah its a pretty wild story haha, I guess my years with zombie movies are affecting me :P

So my question is (what I always are asking my self? does the scene work?

I like it alot, got alot tension going on and can make a really dramatic moment, but then Im cant stop thinking of it doesnt work.. hmm hard nut to break there :P

Clothing test on what kind of clothes I want. First I thought about something like jeans,singlet and leather jacket. But after some thoughts I didnt see a secret agent, but more like a civil cop thing. So I tried to think some other ways, so I got some pictures of me with a suit and another one in a more "casual" wearing and then some photoshop magic I got something that i liked. I think I will go for the "suit".

What you guys think, what do you like best?

Yay for updates! Like I said on the phone with ya, go with the suit!! Some of his features look kinda like they're modelled after you now.. like the cheekbones and brow.. haha.. Dboy Lionchild :D

The nose is a lot better now.. and the cheeks look like they're coming along as well.

Sorry for the lack of crits here, but I'll get back to ya with some during the process of this thing!

This idea I really like.

The face, now that you've given the update, is fantastic. Much better than the prior version-it gives more depth of character. My next question for the head portion is how will you be working the 'mane'/hair portion? A slicked back attempt at a lion's mane, or more along the lines of a humanoid version?

As for the wife? Hm. Perhaps cheetah? Keep the feline theme, and around the same geographical area? Sleek, fast, dangerous...like any good "Bad" Female. :)

The suit, I agree. Definitely. That could have a great impact color/texture wise between the model and the fabric.

dCepT: Haha thank you man. DBoy The Lionchild, catchy :P Actually never thougt about it that way before. Funny :) I also have change the eyes now, will post a update when I have more changes. Now I have to make the suit, another round with modelling cloth and uvwrapping :)

About the mane, im not 100% sure yet. I kind of like him like they way he already are, but I will try some ideas around him and see how he will look like with mane.
I have not worked so much with hair/fur so that part will be a challenge, and I like a challenge.

Will be sketching some rough ideas and see which one will work best and hear with you guys:)

As for the female I coudnt agree more, she definetly has too be around the same geographical area, and a Cheetah is a very good idea. They are so slim,fast and dangerous like females like you said ;)

From 1.July my summer vacation starts, and cant wait too get more time for this project.
So until then I will try to get some more results :)

Sorry guys for lack of updates. But there has been some smal changes. I have made the suit now and also worked some more on the model.

Well now Im trying to find pose. Im not sure what pose I will go for and are posting two poses I cant decided wich one I shall go for. Maybe you can help me out? Which one do you like best?

Have modelled a Desert Eagle for Lionchild, I have some ideas for some extra accessories too make it a little more advanced then the original. But here is quick render of it :) Will post some screenshots too.

Well Lionchild is almost done now :) I spoted some areas were the folding isnt the way I want them too be, so a smal adjustments then theres only texturing left for Lionchild.

Looks cool, homie! Like we spoke about; I agree that the folds at the bottom of the trouser legs look a little too baggy.. I'm sure you're all over that particular one though ;)

Have finally started texturing, needed some tweeks here and there on the uv but now is ready to go and I have also made a texture for her face and legs.

Started experimenting with different lighting setup. Here is a test render/mood that have been photoshop for helping my self out too find a mood Im looking for. There will be more objects in the scene and some more light sources.

Please let me know if there something that doesnt work :)
