Wow, this snuck up on me - I somehow missed it during the process. This is - how can I say it? - Astounding! Incredible! Astonishing! And really really good! :thumbsup: I thought of an idea vaguely along these lines early on - Looking around, I suspect a lot of people did - but couldn't figure out quite how to pull it off. (No pun intended.) You did, and in spades! I love all of the details, the period fonts and weathering, the pose, how much skin you show (perfect for a dated magazine!), the composition, everything!

There are a couple little things that bug my - they're really minor, but you're all done so I might as well point them out: First, the headboard feels really flat and untouched to me. It's got a shadow from the alien on it, but not a lot of shadows from the rounding of the edges, not on the bottom from the ambient occlusion off of the pillows. The wall seems darker on the right, why isn't the headboard too?

Secondly, the word "present" at the top: First of all, it bugs me that the rest of the title is behind his hands and yet here's this really less important word on top of his hands. Why? Secondly, in proper english, it would be "Presents", not "present." Really, I think you'd be better off just dropping that word, imho. But if that and the headboard are all I can think of to crit...! Nice work and great entry! :thumbsup:

Well done, this one was my favourite durring voteing process along with two others , it didn't make to the final but no one from that 3 did. You had great idea and finishing was great too. Honorable mantion is still a good base point to take off for next chellenge.good luck
