This was a poster for a campaign about the choice that HIV positive individuals must make when choosing necessities. The plate was photography, the pills cgi using lightwave and corrected and married to the photography in photoshop.

The yellow pills work the best; the seem part of the photo primarily because the boundaries of the plate compartment and the yellow group of pills make sense together. The others seem stuck together in a big clump.

great job it really blends in well and looks realistic nice idea too!

I think that's what they were going for...

Mashed potatoes, turkey, corn, beans, etc. all substituted.

I think it is very creative and well executed.

Only gripe is that the utencils look a little blah.

Yeah, there was a lot of debate about the clumping issue. Too much and it looked really funky, not enough and it just looked like a pile of pills.

no. I think they're perfect. Not too cg shiny. Perfect.

EDIT... its a photoplate ... no wonder I thought it looked perfect/real. IT IS.. Nice pills
