Hey Guys! So I've got some UV Stretching on the seam of my model. No matter how much I play around with the placement of my UVs, I can never get the stretch to fully go away. Obviously, the texture looks fine on the unsmoothed model but when I smooth it (or use smooth proxy), the texture gets stretched at the seams. To clarify what I am talking about, I have attached 3 images.
Image 1 is of the unsmoothed model, the seam is at the red line
Image 2 is of the smoothed model (I've used smooth proxy) and you can see the stretching that occurs.
Image 3 is the same as Image 2 but I have moved the UVs around to minimize the stretching, but obviously I could not get it to quite go away.

I put the seam at the place where I believe no one will really see it, but I would like to know how to get rid of it for future reference. I am looking for any answer whether it be to reinforce the seam or to suck it up and move forward.
Thanks!
