OBT: in a way you are wright. But it is one thing to make them and another thing to animate...
P.s. Maybe someone could give a suggestion of a background for this guy?

Wicked piece. He looks like one of the old artist droids at 2000AD comics.
Sorry I can't think of any ideas for a background though. :hmm:

The robot's great - looks really friendly and jolly. He looks really proud of whatever he's just drawn!!
Not sure about ashecorbin's background though. Doesn't really do anything for the character. I kind of imagined him walking away from a sketch he'd done, maybe a futuristic re-hash of an old master like a robotic Mona Lisa or something.
I like the way you've mixed futuristic iconography with traditional style, and the fact that he's holding a mouse and a pencil - a marriage of old and new techniques.
Cool.

Hi again.. ang thanx for replies guys!!
Aelius: your' right about background.. But this guys hasn't completed anything yet. He's like searching for perfect form or color. I think I'll even try to draw somthing like that for the background... Somthing a little dark, but not too creepy.. What do you think?
ashecorbin: Your suggestion is quiet interesting. But I think its a little too bright. In the original I hardly got some depth... That light flattens image even more. Besides I Want to try to search for somthing more real.. I meen not so abstract.. ^^
But still one more time thanx for comments!! They gave me some ideas good ideas.. I think ^^

Sounds good, ExanJU. Now I look at him more, I can see how a dark background could completely change the meaning of his strut. The lack of facial expression leaves him open to interpretation, so a dark (emotionally) background could well turn that happy lilt into a frustrated stride!!! Maybe a backdrop of dozens of bad sketches with angry crosses through them!!?
Keep us posted, ExanJU. I'd like to see this one when it's done!!:applause:

Sorry I didn't realise you had updated the top post.
Looks really good, the new background, he fits in well to the surroundings.
I can't find any crits at all, top work. Roll on with the 3D version.
