One of the joints in my skeleton doesn't rotate. It's a forearm joint, so the the scale and transforms are locked, and the Rotate X & Y are also locked. In the channelbox, only Rotate X is exposed, but it's not locked. When I try to rotate the joint (or enter a value into the channel box), nothing happens: it zeros out. The joint does have rotation limits, but when I turn them off, I get the same no-rotate result.
I oriented it to a control NURBS circle, which now moves about the x-axis without rotating the joint. In the Hypergraph, nothing except the constraint is connected to the joint.
Is there something I might be missing that could lock the joint? If not, is there a way to replace the joint with a new one without messing up my skeleton? I haven't bound the skeleton to the model yet, so changing joints won't cost me weight painting.
