View Full Version : adjusting mocap keyframes doesn't work
grootvriend 06-12-2009, 01:15 PM I've got some weird movement in my mocap-data like a hand that does a 360 rotation. I'm trying to delete the keyframes that cause this rotation but it doesn't change a thing.
What I do is; plot the animation to a control rig, select the hand control and delete the corrosponding keyframes. Does anyone know why this doesn't work??

So you are saying you delete the keeys but it still rotates all funny even with the keys deleted?
If this is the case Yes I have seen this. Sometimes the we get data back and on one frame the whole guy explodes and then back to normal in one frame. So the Fix that worked for me is makesure you are slecting both the Fk and Ik rig. Delete the keys you don't want. Don't move the timeline then copy and past keys replacing each of keys untill you have keys all the way accross. So if I have an animation from frames 1-10 and 5 and 6 are messed up, I delete 5 and 6 and then copy 4, and past it where 5 and 6 are. That should fix it. Make sure you don't move the time slider when you are doing it though.
