View Full Version : Render Verbosity Problem! Messages Won't Show...
Jeffparadox 06-12-2009, 12:13 PM Hi all,
I'm trying to optimize my MR renders, though, I can't get my output window to print any messages... I change the Render Verbosity to "info messages" or "progress messages" but every time I hit render, it jumps back to "warning messages" by itself and I don't get any info!
Anyone had a similar problem? I'm using Maya 2008, I'd appreciate any help...
Thanks

Did you find the solution? I have the same issue and it's very annoying.
I'm using Maya 2009 SP1.
P.S. You can batch render the scene (don't forget in rendering menu "Render-BatchRenderOptions" to set VerbocityLevel to Progress messages) and look into "mayaRenderLog.txt" (on Windows, file is located in C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\maya)
Or you can get these messages if you render from comand line. And you must use flag "-v 5" I think.
for example: render -r mr -v 5 sceneName.ma
But I want messages in Output Window also :(
