Hey people,
I have a maaaaaaajor issue with my shadow passes, I'm getting some cracked out jagged edges instead of correct shadow information when I set up a shadow pass with a background shader. I've attached pictures of the scene and the shadow pass alpha.
This has never happened before and I've done this several times. A few acquaintances are getting the same thing too, cross platform. Did I miss something?!
Info:
Maya 2008/2009
Maya Software
Production Quality
Raytracing
Point Light (default raytracing settings)
Background shader, 0 reflectivity, 0 reflection limit, 0 specular, 0 specular color.
This'll drive me nuts and I can't find any documentation on the interwebbings!
Thanks in advance,
g
