View Full Version : Maya vertex selection

Hi there, I recently installed Maya 2009 student version and when I switch to select vertex(s) it selects all of them with a yellow orange color around the edges. When I move one vertex it moves all of them distorting the object. Does anyone know where the setting to fix this so only one vertex will be selected?

try your help docs, but you've got soft select on. I believe the key is b to turn it on and off.
