View Full Version : Vector render is missing (Maya 2009-64bit)

hi
im using Maya 2009 64-bit and also instal [Bonus Tools for Maya 2009 (win64)].
now i have a problem. maya vector render is not exist in Render setting. i tried to check Vectorrender.mll in Plug-in Manager. but this Plug-in was not there too. maybe this problem for installing Bonus Tools on maya! I download it from Autodesk website. please help me how can i available Maya vector render.

vector renderer is not available in 64 bit. try installing maya 32-bit.

if you know any way that 64-bit supports vector render please share to me and if theres no way so thank you friend. i'll install 32-bit too and i think will use both of them.

no problem. :)

from memory, Alias were never the developers of the renderer, it's impossible to get it to work under 64bit unless original developers update it.

there is a workaround as you said....you can install 32bit and 64bit maya at the same time on a 64bit system. as you probably already know, scenes created with maya in either version are both saveable and openable in both 64bit and 32bit.
