View Full Version : Constrain issue
Vedrica 06-09-2009, 08:11 PM Hi all. I am having issue with point and parrent constrain. When turning off the constrain in the channel box, constrained object pops back where i assigned constrain. Why this is happening?

Because the constrain is no longer affecting your object. That means that it goes back to its original position since it is no longer affected by the constrain.

How than i can make the object to stay where the constrain stops? I would appreciate the answer.

I dunno about turning the contraint off. But I do know if you straight up delete the constraint node in the outliner, its a lil exclamation mark icon, the object will stay where the constraint moved it to.
Hope that helps

Use the Set rest position... command (Constrain menu), and after that if you animate the weight the object no longer pop back to original constrain position.

Thank you! :) It works. I don't know why this doesn't have any of the tutorials i found.
