ok, heya @ all, decided to give it a try... C&C īs are always welcome...and for the info;

this work is done as a sculpture,with plaster,lead,aluminium and colored with airbrush,photographed,and then worked over in PS 7.

how'd you get that giant crisp image compressed so small?

I don't think you need to state the meaning at all. I think "still life?" leaves just enough mystery involved. I mean, I think that is part of the allure of this image anyway.

@ garbagemonkey;

iīve done a a plaster mask from a friends face, modeled it,on a plate,and needed about one and a half week to get it smooth and painted with acrylics,there is much more stuff in the original piece(like a background with newspaper-collage,and a thick border,and tons of little detailīs...), but this was a nice perspective to workout, maybe iīll try to experiment and submit more :lol: and

@ jaucifer; ok,there are sometimes thoughts in my head while doing a piece, sometimes they declare a meaning,or could be a statement, but wouldnīt that be boring,to have all answers in front of your nose, instead of using your own mind...
