I think this one sounds like a lot of fun and like the format. Should be fun to see all the different styles.
Uh, isn't this an old project (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=59&t=608623) that was canned (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=59&t=658683) awhile back?

Awesome news!
Good to hear that it's still going then. I imagine it wouldn't be hard to improve on the past two Heavy Metal attempts and it is my most sincere hope that they get this one right. Heavy Metal was a huge inspiration for me as a youth. The past two movies did nothing to reflect the quality of the magazine. Looks like they're starting off with a good crew so I have hope for this one.

Truly great news. Finally!
This is one of those projects that you wonder why it hasn't happened already with CG. So glad it has been revived.
(I'm also hoping that, before I awake from this dream, an Aeon Flux CG done with all the original character designs and voices is announced  )
