ncloth Mmaya 2009
I am creating a cloth napkin wrapped around bread in a bread basket. I would like the napkin to have a hem. I modeled a hem onto the original geometry but I'm having problems with the self collisions.
I'm wondering if there is a way to use a simple plane and make it appear to have a hem. Just painting thickness isnt enough as both sides of the fabric will show (top & bottom- as it folds over on itself) so just beveling the edge isnt enough either
any trade tricks?
anybody?
