Hey everyone. I've skinned a character and when I move the joints the texture will move around in some places. Click here (http://www.3d-buddha.com/capture-2.mp4) to see a video of what I'm talking about. This also happened on another character I skinned. I rendered out an animation to see if it was just a render glitch, but it showed up in the animation. Anyone know what's going on?

I'm not sure that this is actually a problem, unless you need it for real-time stuff, like games. I think the popping occurs, because a quad-face is automatically divided into 2 triangles, depending on the vertex positions. And by the looks of it, this dividing line is switching places during the animation, which makes your texture look like it's popping. This isn't a bug, it's just how it works. Did you try to make a software render? or smooth your geometry?
Another thing I'd try is to connect two of the opposing vertices, creating 2 triangles. This way, you force Maya to keep this quad divided in just one way...
Hope this helps

Making the quad into two triangles by using the split polygon tool worked. I thought that might have been the problem before I posted so I triangulated the mesh, but it still popped so I figured that wasn't the problem. Turns out you gotta do it manually with the split polygon tool instead. Thanks for the help.
