yah, thats on generating them. im guessing i just need his space change utility update for maya 5. then i can switch to tangent space. that should render ok then. anyone know if that is out?
btw thanks alexx

the shader works, but it is not set up for tangetn space. that is why i need that plug in. im only guessing, thats the only way to get tangent space for my shader.
i created my normal map in ORB. and i used tangent space for it. have any ideas alexx
