looks like there are a lot of artifacts in your render. A touch up in photoshop will fix that. I think you went slightly overboard with the motion blur. The only other thing is the front wheels appear to be floating.
Great work on the modelling!!

Texturing could use some more looking into. The cars are too glossy/plasticy.
The modelling is done very well. The only problem I have is with the rims. If you are going for realism the ferrari has a 5 star rim in gold from OZ racing. Your rims look nothing like F1 rims.
But overall a good modelling job.

Thanks for the crits...
I guess I'm just gonna have to keep pushing myself harder learning from each of my mistakes until I improve. Most of my work is either too dark or looks like a scale model instead of life-size. I think once my texturing and lighting improve, so should my images.
Thanks again,
Andrew

The proportions are way off. Their nose is like Pinocchio's :)
Make it shorter and bigger.

It's a good start, but the models need some work.
You should make sharper edges on the cars, they are too round in many spots.
The barge boards are missing as well.
The nose is to low, it should be higher (Im talking about the part that goes from the cockpit to the tip of the nose)
The wheels seem to large. Also there needs to be a big bolt on the wheel (the one they use to unscrew the wheel when pitting)
I think you need to get a look at some reference pics, and possible try get some blueprints
Good luck!

Hi,
I suppose if you are going for the stylised look, then the cars are fine, but as far as being compared to the real thing, I think they need quite a bit of work. Just things like the "chrome" wheels, in F1 they use lighweight metal like aluminum, chrome is just not an option, it also accumilates to much heat.
But as far as the look goes (the render with the two cars stationary), it's not bad, I'd actually think about changing the radio transmitters to something smaller and black...
Have fun!

PS if you are looking for refrence, look at www.formula1.com they'll have some pic for you.
Pretty good....both are my dream car, but....the icon of the car, i means the logo too flat :p
Anyway, good work
