View Full Version : Vehicle: Nissan 350Z

Hi, this is my first project using a 3d package (since the old school 3d Studio, but I was about 14 back then).
I've been using XSI for about 3 months now and I finished this car in about half of that time.
I know there's a few glitches in the model, but I'll work those out on my next car. Let me know what you think....

bloody excellent, what did you use for texture and lighting? it looks pretty real to me

I used final gathering with some extra lights (which Im sure isnt the most efficient way to render).
The only things that are textured are the emblems and the brakes, as well as a fractal shader on the car paint.
My windows turned out kind of funky, but it has no interior so I needed to black them out :D

XSI rocks!! nice car model, although theres something that bugs me about the rear drivers window, too polygonal i guess, Good job anyways!
