View Full Version : CONCEPT ART FOR HCR MODELING: Queen of the Rocketmen

As some of you know the next FXWARS/ HCR MOD challenge will be
the Queen of the Rocketment, and to be blunt we need concept art.
Ill move this thread to WIP 2d in about a week.



Imagine you have been comissioned to do video games based on the aviation world of the 1930
A world of danger advanture, air pirates, zepellins and crazy air machines... (similar to the Indiana Jones universe, but where Jet packs, giant air machines and robot hechmen are a reality)

Join us as the Queen of the Rocketmen and her band of merry men fight the evil air pirates in the air above the South Pacific.





Color palette: Good Guys (Light browm, Gold)


Bad guys (Black, dark blue, Purple Silver)

I thought we had done this already; can we resubmit the same concepts? I'd love to see mine brought to 3D if someone were to pick it!

Actually your concepts are already in the pool.

The problem to be honest is that we need more concept art.

I loved this topic, but I'm been busy working on a portrait for a friend's wedding, buying a new car since they stole mine 2 weeks ago, and regular work! If I wrap all of those things I'll give this a shot because it was a fun as hell topic!

Ok, here is my concept. This is pirates airship. If the enemy plane will get "inside" this ship, it will never come back! :)

well, here's my little try to fill out the empty space, although i forgot the corridor which should go from the "bridge" to the cockpit (pilot's cabin)....oh well. not really a finished sketch but i'm too tired to continue....or even think :)

forgot to mention that this a a pirate ship meant to carry stolen cargo to the pirate base
it's a jet-engine driven zeppelin

Good concepts people, i attempted a quick one. This is a 'carrier' type of craft, moves slower than most, but carries ships, planes, and people using wind power-
