I read few threads about the mia_light_surface .. But I still cant make it work
I must be doing something wrong

mia_light > miaX addtional color
AO in the miaX is On
FG is On

the objective is to have some glow on the shader
thanks

create a sphere and plane... plane with lambert. create a mia_light_surface and apply it directly to the object. it will create a shader for you and plug it into the color. I plug it into the ambient color also. on the mia light select a color and set intensity to 1 and Fg to 1 also. In the lights tab below "lights[0]" click the texture swatch and pick point. theennn...turn on final gather and render.

by the way...how did u attach the file to your post ?? If you want give me your email addy and I'll send you the maya file.

Cheers mate...
