Ok, so I've seen a lot of models lately which have 2 1024 textures, or any other variety of combos of maps.

So I'm unwrapping this model, and I'd like to unwarp it onto 2 1024 maps as well, for obvious reasons (ala that fabulous UT2003 model that was plugged not too long ago). But I've got no clue how to do it! I'm *hoping* this isn't something I had to set up ahead of time, as I just unwrapped the model and it took forever as is!

I'm using Max 5, and my model has an Unwrap UV on it (duh, but just in case it matters).

Hope someone can help!

Nah, you'll be fine. Just break up your model into two separate objects that you'll be assigning the materials to. Assign the materials and attach them back into a single object. The materials will be assigned then on a per-face basis. I think there's a dialog box that pops up asking you how to handle the materials, just pick the one that makes sense (can't remember it off-hand, sorry)

If you need help with the texture assignments in UnrealEd, just holler.
