Just wanted some feedback on whether anything is missing or could really add to it.
Main focus is just a way to show of the character (one guys copied), not really the environment.

In the top picture, on the back left, it's very hard to distinguish that there are two characters at all. It looks like one character with four eyes.

In the bottom picture, the finger posing shows that it needs some work. They're all limp. If this is a life threatening situation, they should be pressed tightly around their weapons and equipment.

The character talking into the walkie talkie could stand to have its hips thrust forward more and shoulders back, making for a more commanding character and adding drama to the scene.

The modeling looks good. The deformation at the backs of the knees looks a little unnatural, though, esp. in the one looking around the corner.

Is this piece truly finished? The shaders seem to be needing something. They all have a matte plastic feel to them. If you moved this to the WIP forum, I'll bet you could get some great suggestions. (not that you won't get some here, but they'll be more along the lines of "you didn't do this or that" rather than "you might try this or that" which could open up new possibilities for you.)

Take care.

I think the models are solid, maybe some more detail in the face.
But the environment is definatly taking away from the image.
Try to throw in some more detail, and objects in the scene. The reason they wear those colors is to blend in with the environment, in this picture they are sticking out like soar thumbs.
What sort of combat are they about to get in? you can tell a simple story with just an image. Try this maybe, might make the difference to get that "complete" look

top notch model(s) , just one thing, I thing most SWAT teams would use whisper mics so they can keep their hands free. Just a suggestion

Its very interesting that you chose women models rather than men. I like the change from the usual. Most people don't steer away from what "works" to try something new.

I like it.

Thanks for the feedback, so far it's all been really good, not merely 1-liners.

The reason they wear those colors is to blend in with the environment, in this picture they are sticking out like soar thumbs.

You guys got me confused :) One guys saying that they blend in too much and the next saying that they stick out too much. Well the idea was just that they are entering an apartment complex. Just like samgrice said. I do love Leon and i undoubtely had that in my head once i finished the character (but i wasn't trying to duplicate the character, i just made it up as i went along)

What makes you think they're women? Everything is so hidden, that you really should be able to tell... i guess that's what they want in real life too.

These are 2 images i kept just as reference when making them. You can see on the gsg9 that their outfit does blend into 1 and that there are minimal highlights. So that's why you said it looked like it was 'matte plastic' webfox.

A fine picture, I like the set up and character positions.

If I may suggest 2 possible improvements-

The specular level on the surfaces of their clothing (arms, legs) can be broken up with either a noise / bump combination. This will reduce the 'plastic' look and add to a more subtle effect.

A light reflection map on the clear face guard and eyepiece may improve the head area. The eyepieces appear self illuminating.

You guys got me confused One guys saying that they blend in too much and the next saying that they stick out too much.

I was saying that you can't distinguish that there are two men standing one in front of one another in the back corner. The other person was saying they stand out too much from their environment.

Two totally different issues. :)

You could creatively play with lighting and show that there are two men in the back left, instead of one with two goggles on. Vary their poses more and put a subtle light on the farthest back so that the two don't merge into one form.

And I understand that they're supposed to be dark and dull so that they don't attract the attention of a shooter, but I felt that the outfits look like they're made of rubber or plastic, not cloth, where cloth would be present.

Lastly, the other person may be assuming that they are female by the slender forearms. I wondered, myself, but didn't really care if they were just skinny men or tough women. Neither are invalid subjects.

You've shown good work. I was just offering my opinions like you had requested.

They appear as women from their petite size, legs arm's etc, and the area on the groin...just...well, you know. :scream: :surprised
