Hey Jiyoung, this really shows off your texture work and your artistic eye. That statue looks great and I remember you built it pretty damn quick to. For my part, I thought the pace at the end was fine, I wouldn't slow it down too much.

I like very much the general feeling of the whole film. Everything is blended very nicely together. It instantly catches the viewer's attention in a gentle & warm way. It brings him to integrate the clip's mood very efficiently. It is a very nice demo that shows your enormous talent. Congratulations & good luck!

In summary:
- Very good choice of music
- Good timing between visuals & music
- Very nice 3D rendering
- Amazing textures & artwork
- Good creation of an ambience, not just energetic visuals

I agree with those above, the matte paintings are fantastic. You have a very good eye for color. You're good at capturing nature with your brush (or pencil, etc) so it would've been nice to see moss, water stains, and other grime on that statue.

Some more othographic design images will improve your reel, and could land you a job as a character or set designer.

Altogether, very nice demo reel :)

quite a good reel. I really enjoyed watching it. The one thing I did wish for was a clearer looking reel cause you obviously worked really hard on the art and it's not really doing it justice to not showcase it in a quicktime - But hey, we're not the employers right? :D I'm sure the thing is gorgeous.

One comment though. Ben folds is nice and all but I didn't think it went with your reel. On the one hand, you have a reel that is all artistic and beautiful and the 2nd line of the song is something about french fries and money. I laughed at the lyrics and out loud too. You should definitely try something classical cause I think it'll work better although, apparently they watch them reels without sound.

I did all my artworks in my college and industry. I understand that
myart work would'nt show much in quittime, but it is just show off my Illustration background. But I will show my original works for sure when I go to interview.

Finally finished your demo reel~ congraduation for the hard work paid off.
The demo reel is really small... I really like to see the bigger version of your demo reel if it's possible.
I know the models are nice because I have seen them. What impressed me is your great artworks in the 2d section~
You should make a website just for your 2d arts~ :thumbsup:
